A quick look at the Terex Ecotec’s range of processing, biomass, and recycling equipment available from MSC.

With significant growth in the recycling market, Mobile Screening and Crushing (MSC) is proud to offer Terex Ecotec’s range of processing, biomass, and recycling equipment as part of their product portfolio.

“We’ve seen significant growth area in New Zealand, as councils are turning their backs on landfill and becoming more recycling focused,” says MSC director Andy Meikle.
Terex Ecotec’s comprehensive range of shredder, recycling screens, handling equipment, and stacking conveyors aids MSC to offer the complete package solution for medium- to large-scale processing operations.

“We are proud to be exclusive New Zealand agents for the full Terex Ecotec range. This has strengthened our position within the waste sector and we have now established a very strong working relationship with many of the New Zealand’s waste recycling companies,” says Andy.

TDS 825 Slow Speed Shredder

The Terex Ecotec range of waste shredders include slow, medium, and high speeds. Customisable shredding programs allow operators to configure the machine to their specific requirements.

Hydrostatic drive offers protection against contamination and allows for bi-directional shredding, while independent gearboxes enable each shaft to run separately helping to reduce contaminant wrappage and improve the shredding of material. The shredder features 2.5-metre long shafts made from solid steel, has fully welded tooth configuration, and hydraulic folding hopper extensions, which allow for increased capacity.

“The robust TDS 825 is impressive with extremely high production rate and excellent size reduction. This high-capacity machine is deal for large scale operations,” says Dan Meikle, MSC operations manager.

Phoenix 1600 Trommel

The Phoenix 1600 has been designed with ease of site movements and large stockpile heights in mind. Highly versatile, the machine can efficiently screen a variety of material, including topsoil, compost, sand and gravel, wood chip, and C&D waste. Woven mesh or heavy-duty punch plate panels can be fitted to the drum ensuring all application requirements are met

The heavy-duty Phoenix screen can perform in the most difficult applications offering greater flexibility, its manufacturers say, adding that the machine has been innovatively designed to provide excellent fuel efficiency and low operating costs.

Low running rpm reduces emissions and noise levels, making the Phoenix 1600 ideal for urban environments.

The Phoenix 1600 is available in tracked, pintle drawbar, and wheeled configuration.
“The 4.9m x 1.54m drum gives unrivaled production and throughput is guaranteed due to the screening area is largest in its class,” says Dan.

“We aim to provide the right machine for our clients’ application. These recycling machines provide exceptional screening, efficient production, low operational costs, and ease of maintenance,” says Andy.

TTS 620

MSC says the TTS 620 has been their most popular of the Ecotec Trommel Screens due to its highly efficient engine and hydraulic drive system combined with advanced material processing control system offers maximum production with minimum costs.

This trommel screen is ideally suited for screening compost, biomass, soil, gravel, and waste.

“The highly versatile 620 is in a league of its own, with its two-meter drum and swing-out engine cradle gives operators unrestricted ground level access to all service components, making it one of the most user friendly trommels on the market,” says Dan.
Features include:

Minimal change out time for the screening drum—a matter of minutes
Intelligent feeder control system continually adjusts the feeder speed to optimise screening rates

Suited for screening compost, biomass, soil, gravel, and waste
Intuitive push-button control panel allows operator to configure to suit application

Trommel Screens

Designed for maximum productivity, Ecotec trommel screens are highly versatile yet efficient in the separation and processing of a wide range of applications, MSC says.
These heavy-duty recycling screens can perform in the most difficult applications offering operators great flexibility.

MSC’s Portfolio includes:

Terex Evoquip: Compact crushing and screening products, developed with a focus on easy maintenance, fuel efficiency, and ease of transport.

Terex Ecotec: Slow, medium, and highspeed shredders, trommel screens, recycling screens, waste handlers, and conveyors.
